News Update - Summer 2019

1) Housing Site Survey

Thank you to all of you who completed the on-line survey, attended the drop-in or gave us comments.

The results showed strongest support for Site 1, the land north of Racks Lane, as a site for future development.

The full results of the survey, a summary kindly done by James callow, and your comments can be viewed using the links below or from the DOWNLOADS link on the main menu.

You can also view the full housing site report we commissioned from an independent and professional adviser by clicking the link below.

2) New Locality Grant

We applied for and have just been awarded a further £7,254 in grant aid to enable us to proceed to draft our Neighbourhood Development Plan. This will incorporate all the work done by the volunteers and the feedback you have given to us in surveys etc. We thank you all for your input.

3) The Draft Plan

The draft plan will be written with professional assistance over the summer, and we hope to be able to have this ready for community consultation and comment this Autumn.  However, we are happy to receive any feedback/comments by e-mail at any time.

Calling all Volunteers

If you feel that you would like to help, we need volunteers. The Parish Council cannot do this by themselves.  We need help with planning, communications, secretarial support, data analysis, IT and graphic design, and we will need help for manning drop-ins, coffee mornings, leaflet posting, photography and so on.

Everyone welcome!
