Coming up with dreams and goals is easy. Making some progress right after that to achieve them is somewhat easy. Consistently pushing for them is hard. And then working on them even when one does not want to is really hard.

We are making it easier at Goalcrushers Club by bringing together some concepts and principles under one umbrella, that together make consistent progress easier. Some of these are:

  • Accountability and personal commitment: You are more likely keep going when someone is there to ask you regularly, if you are making progress.
  • Emphasis on the outcome instead of the activity: Our structure by definition ensures you are keeping your wished outcome in mind.
  • Enhanced Focus: By limiting work in progress for any given day – no matter, how many areas on your life you have a vision -, you are more likely to make progress in the long run.

On top of this, everything is built around so called Clubs (or, if you like, groups. Or organisations. Or teams. Or holons. Or…), where these entities may also have their own goals, their own set of rules.
For example:

  • A professional leadership programme facilitator may create a Club, in which he/she can track the vision and progress of all their attendees.
  • A Mastermind group agrees to not just meet once a week, but also to make hard commitments towards themselves, and others hold them accountable.
  • A company may want to track and visualise their OKR hierarchy, and want to ensure, OKR-s are in front of everyone, so that they know what they are trying to achieve. This lets everyone think day in and day out about what they can do, to move the needle today.

But today, we are just at the beginning of our journey…
